Installing or running VBRUN300.DLL

I tried to run a launcher program from a downloaded third party software
program and I get an error message saying that that It can't locate
VBRUN300.dll. I located VBRUN300.dll on my Windows 98 CD under cdsamples but
I don't know how to install it to get the launcher program to run. Can anyone
help?

It's good to have all the VBRUN's: VBRUN100.DLL, VBRUN200.DLL,
VBRUN300.DLL, VB40032.DLL, VB5STKIT.DLL, VB6STKIT.DLL.

I don't THINK there ever was a 7.

I have them both in the win/sys and in the windows root
directory, since some programs look here and some look there.

All you have to do is DL from some site (they are all over the
place) and pout them in those directories. No install req'd.

If you goggle for it you will see that it's needed for programs such as
Visual Basic, and you can also download it from various sites.

It needs to be in your C:\Windows\system directory, so copy it from your
CD-ROM to there.
